Pet Idol is the area's largest, most exciting pet show with a judges panel featuring local celebrities and personalities. This event will be held inside the Susquehanna Valley Mall on Saturday, October 11, 2008.

Pet Idol is an event for pets of all sizes, breeds, colors, and kinds. Judging categories include #1 Pet Idol (Best Overall), Best Dressed, Most Unique, Most Talkative, Most Talented, and #1 Owner Look-Alike. Don't miss the Pet Parade after the Pet Square Dancing starting at 1:00 PM followed by Pet Idol.

This is a non-profit fund-raiser, raising funds for Newspapers in Education. Newspapers in Education (NIE) is a Daily Item program that supplies 75% of funds for the newspapers and places them in classrooms to use as teaching tools. The other 25% of funds comes from fund-raisers like Pet Idol. So, join in the fun and support a great cause.

Pet Idol will bring pet lovers and community together and will give pet enthusiasts and activists a chance to present themselves to the community.
